  • Learn about racial disparities in mental health in the medical field.

  • Tell your own story to illuminate racial and gender disparities in mental health outcomes and treatment experienced by POC providers; share it with us.

  • Screen the film to create safe spaces for dialogue among BIPOC medical caregivers.

  • Advocate for best practices and policies for mental health and wellness needs of BIPOC medical caregivers. Share vetted best practices with your medical/health institution.

  • Plan a screening of I AM NOT YOUR HERO in partnership with your local health
    organization, academic institution. Use the post-screening discussion to brainstorm ways to support BIPOC providers’ mental health and wellness needs.

  • Educate students and peers about mental health and wellness and provide resources.
